One of the target types supported by the RCP Toolkit is the RCP cRIO-9068 Target.

Description

The RCP cRIO-9068 Target is a real-time target, based on the NI Linux Real-Time operating system.

The RCP cRIO-9068 Target supports, for example, the Quanser Q1-Single cRIO configuration as illustrated below and detailed in the Hardware Requirements and NI cRIO Module Configurations Requirements sections.

Hardware Requirements

The RCP cRIO-9068 Target is a combined Real-Time Controller and Chassis.

NI cRIO Module Configurations Requirements

The RCP cRIO-9068 Target currently supports the following select NI cRIO module combinations. Note that only four out of the eight slots are used. The modules must be located in the first four slots of the chassis.

Software Requirements

The software requirements to use LabVIEW and the RCP toolkit on the RCP cRIO-9068 Target are:

Optional: LabVIEW MathScript RT Module (*) [only used in certain Quanser curriculum VIs]

(*) - The version of the module or feature on the cRIO must correspond to the version of LabVIEW installed on the host.
