The Quanser Mechatronics Sensors Trainer USB Thermocouple Temperature Page plots the temperatures measured by the MAX31855KASA+T thermocouple in °C. It plots both the internal cold-junction temperature of the thermocouple as well the external thermocouple temperature. The page is depicted below with a sample plot, showing the internal cold-junction temperature in green and the external thermocouple temperature in red:

To go back to the Sensors page, tap on the close button in the top, right corner of the page. The thermocouple has no configurable parameters for the sensor.

The readings from the sensor have 14 bit resolution. Note that the thermocouple can measure a very wide range of temperature values, from -200°C to +1350°C. The plot axes are fixed to a smaller range so that changes in temperature are more visible on the plot. To get the full temperature range as well as the fault conditions, access the thermocouple from a host computer.

Tap the close button in the top, right of the page to apply the new settings and return to the plot.
